I need to get organized. Really. I actually called a professional organizer. Her rates: $45 an hour, with a two-hour minimum. She doesn’t give estimates, but at those charges, I get the picture.
So I went where I always go where I’m beat down, confused….Dollar Tree. Somehow, the brightly colored (and usually) organized shelves always calm my soul. And I got stuff: small plastic boxes for little things, dishwashing tubs for bigger things.
“Trying to get organized,” the cashier said when she looked at my haul. “Uh…yes,” wondering why she was working there and not at Psychic Friends. “I just had a professional organizer, and she bought all of the same stuff…and, you know, she charges $30-45 an hour.”
